CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners are seeking additional applicants who are interested in serving on the Clearfield County Recreation & Tourism Authority or the Curwensville Lake Authority.
Anyone interested in serving on the Clearfield County Recreation & Tourism Authority or the Curwensville Lake Authority should submit their letters of interest to the commissioners, 212 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA, by April 29.
For the Recreation & Tourism Authority, the commissioners are looking specifically for someone with a background or involvement in a Bed & Breakfast business or some other experience in the hotel, motel or restaurant business.
Additionally, in order to have geographic balance on the board, the preferred candidate should reside in the eastern or southern part of the county, specifically the Moshannon Valley area.
For the Curwensville Lake Authority board position, ideal candidates would possess general knowledge of Curwensville Lake and have some experience working with others to oversee the finances, staff and operations of the facility.
