Thomas Earl Wisor, 55, of Clearfield died Monday, April 11, 2016 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 15, 1961, he was the son of James F. Sr. and Hope (Swisher) Wisor.
Mr. Wisor was a mechanic having worked for Peerless and Butler Trucking companies.
He was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church in Clearfield. He enjoyed spending time with his family and at the Woodland Rod and Gun Club.
On Jan. 27, 1979, he wed the former Charlene Powell,, who preceded him in death on May 13, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a cousin, Frank Wisor.
Surviving are a son, Justin Wisor and his wife, Kara of Binghamton, NY; two grandchildren, Jordan and Kaylee Wisor; and three brothers, Kevin Wisor and his wife, Joyce of Clearfield and James Wisor Jr. and Kimm Wisor, both of Hyde.
Also surviving are his in-laws, Ed and Bonnie Powell of Clearfield and his grandmother-in-law, Marie Henchbarger of Clearfield.
There will be no public visitation and a memorial service will be conducted at the later date.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, 103 N. Front St. Clearfield, PAÂ 16830.
