State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment Thursday on Hale Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a Hendersonville, NC allegedly sent the victim alarming pictures in the mail.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police investigated an alleged incident of DUI on March 27 in the area of Route 310 and Spruce Street in McCalmont Township. No further information was provided in the state police report.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred April 4 at Elk County Foods in Ridgway Township. During the incident, a Ridgway male allegedly entered the store and placed a hoagie down his pants. The male then fled the store. Upon investigation state police identified the male, and he was interviewed and issued a non-traffic citation for the incident.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a West Front Street address to check the welfare of children who were reportedly home alone. Upon arrival police found the mother at the scene.
- Police were notified about a vehicle in the area of Williams Street that was operating with its headlight dragging on the ground. However, police searched the area with negative contact.
- Police were called to Daisy Street for a parking complaint. Further, police issued a ticket due a vehicle that was blocking the caller’s driveway.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with an alleged altercation along South Second Street. The individuals involved were located at a residence in the borough, police said.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with an incident along South Fourth Street.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a disabled vehicle along Washington Avenue. Upon arrival police assisted the motorist with towing the vehicle and finding transportation.
- Police received a report about a missing male from the Super 8 Motel. He was later located, police said.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male at Wal-Mart.
- Police received a report about a missing four-wheeler. It was lost off of a trailer in the area of Antes Hill and the Clearfield-Glen Richey Highway. Anyone with information is asked to contact township police.
- Police received a report about possible elder abuse. It remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- Police served a warrant on a Sykesville male. He was lodged in county jail to await arraignment.
- Police received a report about an alleged fight at the Economy Inn on South Second Street.
- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call at a Hyde residence. Upon arrival police found that the family dog had called 911.
Sandy Township
- Police investigated a 911 hang-up call Wednesday at a Bush Court residence. Further, the property owner told police that he and a roommate had engaged in an argument. Police handled the situation without incident.
- A tractor-trailer backed into another tractor-trailer Wednesday in the Pilot parking lot. Minor damage and no injuries were reported, police said.
- A vehicle driven by a 29-year-old Rossiter man pulled from Oklahoma Salem Road into the path of a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old DuBois woman who was traveling on Maple Avenue on Thursday. Moderate damage and no injuries were reported, police said.
- On Thursday Wal-Mart employees alleged a 32-year-old East Weber Avenue man has been stealing from the store and returning items he has taken. Charges are currently pending at this time, police said.
