Donald Paul Parisi, 80, Luthersburg, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Christ the King Manor.
Born Dec. 21, 1935 in Benezette Township, Elk County, he was the son of the late Paul and Pauline E. (Hollingsworth) Parisi.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
On Oct. 14, 1960, he married Arlene A. Stanford. She preceded him in death on Feb. 22, 2015.
Mr. Parisi retired from Consolidated National Gas in Luthersburg as a meter measurement specialist after 35 years of service.
He was a member of the Garfield Lodge No. 559 Free and Accepted Masons, the Jefferson Chapter No. 225, Kittanning Council No. 52 and the Warren Commandery of Knights Templar.
Having served as presiding officer at each of these bodies, he received the KYCH award in Pittsburgh Priory.
He was also a member of Coudersport Consistory, the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17 and the Sandy Hose Company No. 1 Fireman’s Club.
He was also a volunteer fireman for the Brady Township Fire Company and a volunteer EMT for the Brady Township Ambulance.
He is survived by two daughters, Robin Powers and her husband, Stephen of Penfield, and Tamara Roney of Luthersburg; a sister, Shelby McClusky and her husband, James of Benezette; a brother, Kenneth Parisi of York; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the funeral home.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
