CLEARFIELD – On April 22 the Lock Haven University Clearfield Campus invites the public to attend an open lecture, which is part of LHU ClearFIELD DAY, an annual event at which students and faculty share scholarship and learning.
The lecture will feature keynote speaker, Gary Macioce, President of Penn Highlands Clearfield, who will present on “Healthcare and Business Leadership: Challenges and Opportunities.”
This informative session begins at 11:15 a.m. in the lower lounge of Founder’s Hall, where Macioce will be addressing subjects regarding business management, healthcare management, and strategies for success.
He will reflect on his professional experiences as an executive leader to deliver insights about best practices that transcend career fields.
Prior to his current post, Macioce served as the Interim President of Brookville Hospital, Vice President of Operations at Uniontown Hospital and Vice President at Canonsburg General and West Allegheny hospitals.
Macioce earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from State University of New York Stony Brook and Master’s Degree in Health Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
According to Bill Curley, campus director, “LHU ClearFIELD DAY is becoming a wonderful tradition on our campus. It provides an opportunity for the entire campus community to come together to share learning experiences and have some fun. Posters, presentations, performances, music, and food are part of the day. We are very excited that Mr. Macioce will be providing the keynote address.”
