Wayne R. Spilman, 58, of DuBois died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born Nov. 10, 1957 in Washington D.C., he was the son of James M. and Marjorie E. (Wondrack) Spilman. They both survive.
On Sept. 3, 1977, he married Paula G. (Mitchell) Spilman. She survives.
He retired as a maintenance supervisor of the Shawville Power Plant.
Mr. Spilman loved and devoted his life to his family and friends. He was an avid sports fan, especially following his children and their events.
He was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 409.
He is survived by five children, Matthew L. Spilman, Janelle C. Spilman, Carolyn A. Spilman, Mark A. Spilman and Christian P. Spilman; a sister, Kathy Boyt and her husband, Rick; and a brother, James “Tom” Spilman and his wife, Alison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield with Fr. John Miller as celebrant.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
