Are you having trouble guiding your child through the teen years?
The Nurturing Program for Parents of Teens, offered through Children’s Aid Society in Clearfield County can help. A new series of classes begins in May.
Free classes will be held from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Mondays, beginning May 9, at Children’s Aid Society, 1008 S. Second St., Clearfield, and Wednesdays, beginning May 11, at Faith United Presbyterian Church, 43 W. Scribner Ave., DuBois.
The seven-week series runs through June 27.
The program focuses on topics such as teen brain development, healthy relationships, communication, and compromise. The sessions include free child care for children under 10, free dinner, and $10 Sheetz cards.
The Nurturing Program for Parents of Teens is funded by a grant from Pennsylvania’s Children’s Trust Fund.
