Jane K. Fox, 89, of Osceola Mills died Friday, March 25, 2016 at her home. Born Oct. 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Johnathan K. and Edith (Stott) Henderson.
She married James E. Fox on Aug. 14, 1948 in Osceola Mills. He preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 2004.
Mrs. Fox was a member of the First Church of Christ in Philipsburg. She was a homemaker and a member of Planned Parenthood, Contemporary Club, in Philipsburg.
She was also a former board member of the Family Health Services, DAR, in Philipsburg, VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Osceola Mills and BPOE Elks No. 1173 in Philipsburg.
She attended the Philipsburg Schools and graduated from the Warrenton Country School in Warrenton, Va. She was a 1948 graduate of Hood College in Frederick, Md.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, John Prince and a sister, Gail Rossier.
She is survived by a daughter, Edith Ann Sipe and her husband, Richard of Clearfield; four sons, James Emmett Fox Jr. and his wife, Cindy of Yuma, Ariz., Joseph H. Fox and William C. Fox and his wife, Sandra, both of Osceola Mills, and Patrick A. Fox and his wife, Sue of Bay City, Texas; and a brother, James S. Henderson and his wife, Marie of Philipsburg.
Mrs. Fox is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jesse O’Donnell, Sara Gray, James Fox, Christopher Fox, Kristen Fox, Hunter Fox and Kaelie Fox and five great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the First Church of Christ in Philipsburg, with Pastor Ryan Parish officiating.
There will be no visitation.
