A blast in Pakistan’s southwestern city of Lahore has killed five people and injured 30, a rescue officer at the scene told CNN. The explosion happened at the city’s Gulshan Iqbal Park, rescue officer Ghulam Nabi said.
Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the blast, expressing grief for the victims.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion.
