As of the 2010 census, Northumberland County had a population of 94,528, a civilian labor force of 43,700, a 5.1 percent unemployment rate and an average weekly wage of $694. Some of its biggest employers come from the food industry, including Conagra, Furman Foods, Reinhart Foodservice and Bimbo Bakeries.
