DUBOIS – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will be out in the DuBois area this week to sweep state routes.
The work will be performed by Clearfield County PennDOT Maintenance and will take place overnight from March 23 through April 1. Operation hours are midnight to 8 a.m. during weekdays.
With the start of the spring season, the sweeping activity will remove excess material debris from state-owned roadways in the greater DuBois area. Crews will begin on Route 219 in the Falls Creek area and proceed along state routes in the City of DuBois and Sandy Township.
Motorists should be alert for this moving operation and allow for the potential of short travel delays.
PennDOT reminds drivers to use caution in and around all work zones, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up.
