CLEARFIELD – The welding program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) had the opportunity to help out a local farm.
Cooper’s Farm Market, located in Falls Creek, opens up in the fall to provide hay rides and “train rides.”
Some of the train carts needed some repairs so they reached out to the CCCTC.
Dave Rupert, welding and metal fabrication instructor, had his program fix any welds that needed repaired on all the train cars. Rupert says it’s a great way for his students to work on real-life welding issues.
