CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred around 8 p.m. – 8:10 p.m. March 9.
The victim reported to police that he was stopped for a red light at North Second and Bridge streets when a newer red Ford truck rear-ended his vehicle.
As the victim exited his vehicle, the truck’s operator turned southbound onto North Front Street along the river and fled the scene.
It is believed the truck’s license plate starts with YZR, police said.
