CLEARFIELD — Ten members of the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center DECA Chapter competed in the 65th annual State Career Development Conference at the Hershey Lodge on March 1-3.
Representing CCCTC in the conference were: Bree Gaines, Principles of Finance; Braze Greenaway, Hospitality and Lodging Management; Sara Martin, Restaurant and Food Service Management event; Ruthie Rauch, Retail Management; Cheyenne Crater and Lacy Matier, Hospitality Services; Leann Stiles, Principles of Business Management; Shelby Wormuth and Blair Smith, Quick Service Restaurant Management; and Nora Gill, Job Interview.
Martin earned a medal for being among the top test scorers for the Marketing Cluster exam in the technical school division. Gaines earned two medals for both roleplays, and Crater and Lacy earned two medals, one for being among the top test scorers for the Hospitality Cluster exam and the other for roleplay.
Crater, Matier and Gaines will travel to Nashville, Tenn., on April 23-27 to compete at the DECA International Career Development Conference in the School-Based Enterprise event.
