State police at Clearfield
- On Wednesday an inmate at the State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale was allegedly found with a weapon. During a random search of the inmate’s cell, officials allegedly found the weapon, which was made from a piece of plastic; it was sharpened to a point with a white cloth wrapped around the other end for a handle. State police said the weapon measured 5 inches in length and was located in a potato chip bag in the inmate’s locker. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Wednesday on Pine Wood Drive in Graham Township. During the incident, someone who operated a white pick-up truck allegedly drove onto the victim’s property and tore up their yard. The truck fled the scene traveling east on Summit Hill Road. - State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime between Sept. 1, 2015 and March 2 on Rolley Road in Pike Township. State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime March 7-8 on Foreman Street in Rush Township. Further, the victim told state police that someone caused damage to a motion light at her residence. State police are continuing their investigation of the incident at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal trespass that occurred Thursday on South Second Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a Philipsburg man allegedly entered a residence when ordered not to be there. He was taken into custody at the scene, and he has been charged with criminal trespass and related offenses. He was subsequently transported to the Centre County Jail for arraignment.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred March 6 on McGary Road in Rose Township. Further, the victim told state police that four vehicles on his property had various windows broken out by rocks. Damage is estimated at approximately $1,500, state police said.
- State police received a report about an alleged burglary that occurred sometime between Jan. 1 and Wednesday on Eleanora Road in McCalmont Township. Further, state police were told that a four-wheeler, lawn mower, weed eater, tool chest, an elliptical machine and multiple power tools were missing. - State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred between Feb. 28 and March 7 at the Pleasant Grove Church in Gaskill Township. During the incident, someone allegedly threw a rock through a window at the church. - State police received a report about a motor vehicle theft that occurred March 7-8 at Rubicon Auto in Fox Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a 2012 Jeep Wrangler that was orange in color with a black soft top and black fender flares. - Police received a report about an incident of harassment by communications. Police made contact with the individuals and advised them to cease their actions.
