Martha Curtorillo, 96, of Philipsburg died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
Born April 27, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Hritz) Blazosky.
Mrs. Curtorillo was a member of The Nativity of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Hawk Run. She enjoyed the company of people and spending time with her family.
She was first employed with Charles Navasky & Company, Philipsburg, and later with McTague Sportswear of Philipsburg until her retirement.
She married Joseph J. Curtorillo on Nov. 28, 1942 at the St. John the Baptist Greek Catholic Church, Hawk Run. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1959.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Dalentia.
Surviving are two sons, Randy J. Curtorillo and his wife, Rita of South Philipsburg and Darrell S. Curtorillo and his wife, Melanie of Philipsburg and a brother, John Blazosky and his wife, Marie of Marietta, Ohio.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Randy J. Curtorillo and his wife, Traci and Tony Curtorillo and his wife, Danielle, both of Philipsburg, Michael Curtorillo and his wife, Jill of Chester Hill and Christy English and her husband, Rob of Morrisdale; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Hawk Run, with Fr. Peter Benyo officiating. Burial will follow at the St. John the Baptist Orthodox Cemetery, Hawk Run.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, Philipsburg. Panikhida will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
