Up and coming Atlanta-based rapper Trentavious White, known as “Bankroll Fresh,” was killed after a shooting at a music studio late Friday evening, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed.
Shortly after police units arrived at Street Execs Studio in northwest Atlanta, they learned that White had been transported to the hospital, where he died later that night, according to a police statement.
White was 28.
Police told CNN affiliate WSB-TV that they collected more than 50 shell casings inside and outside the studio. A motive for his killing is unknown.
CNN has reached out to Street Execs Studios and the Underwood Hills Neighborhood Association for comment.
An Atlanta native, White was best known for his 2014 hit “Hot Boy.”
