CLEARFIELD – Sixteen new members were inducted into Delta Epsilon Phi, Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School’s German Honor Society on Feb. 29.
Membership requirements include maintaining an A average in German after a minimum of three semesters, having a B cumulative average of all subjects and keeping a clean record of personal behavior.
Mrs. Barbara Simpson is the German teacher and advisor of Delta Epsilon Phi, which now has 47 active members.

Two students received special recognition at the German Honor Society Induction Ceremony at the CAJSHS.
Receiving the Award of Merit from Superintendent Terry Struble (center) were Chandler Kephart (left) and Nick Spingola (right). These two students had the highest average in German of all the new inductees.
