State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a lost/stolen firearm that occurred between Oct. 1 and Jan. 24 in the area of Huckleberry Hill Lane in Boggs Township. Further, a West Decatur man told state police he wasn’t able to locate his personal firearm within his residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Sunday in the 200 block of East Locust Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, the victim and accused allegedly engaged in a verbal argument over a cellular phone, and the accused struck the victim on the head.
- State police received a report about an alleged sexual assault/rape that occurred sometime Sunday or Monday in the Mudlick Road and Route 3040 area in Huston Township. Further, state police were contacted by staff at the Mount Nittany Medical Center who was treating the victim who had been picked up by emergency personnel. State police said she advised she had been sexually assaulted; however, she neither had any recollection of events nor suspects. State police at Punxsutawney
- On Feb. 19 state police stopped a Reynoldsville man after he allegedly committed traffic violations on Route 322 in Pine Creek Township. During the stop, he was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Also, state police allegedly found he was operating a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are currently pending at this time, state police said.
Clearfield Borough
- Police located a male and female who were running down Reed Street, and the female appeared to be upset. When police made contact with the couple, they were advised that there was a disagreement and everything was OK.
- Police received a report that two packages were allegedly removed from a residence along South Second Street.
- Police responded to Cemetery Road for an alleged incident of disorderly conduct. Upon arrival police found that the altercation was verbal in nature.
- Police received a report about damage that was allegedly done to a vehicle while it was parked along Reed Street. Further, police indicated that it appeared someone had keyed the vehicle.
- Police arrested a male for public drunkenness after he was allegedly seen staggering along East 10th The male was allegedly found to be highly intoxicated, police said.
- Police arrested a male for driving under the influence after he allegedly committed several traffic violations and was determined to be consuming alcohol.
- Police checked on a suspicious vehicle parked at the Clearfield Driving Park and determined the driver to be on the phone.
- Police were called to Boyer Street for a reported waterline break. Further, police remained at the scene until arrival of water authority personnel.
- Police responded to Park Avenue for a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival police found that a child was playing with the phone and that there wasn’t an emergency.
- Police responded to South Fourth Street for an alleged altercation between a husband and wife. Further, police remained at the scene until the wife left the residence.
- Police are investigating an alleged theft from a local business.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a bad check.
- Police responded to an alleged physical domestic dispute at a local business on Route 879.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft in the Coal Hill area.
- Police received a report about a possible domestic dispute on Valley View Drive. Further, police located a female who was allegedly being disorderly. She was transported by Clearfield Emergency Medical Services for a possible overdose.
Curwensville Borough
- Police handled a noise complaint Saturday on Thompson Street.
- Police are investigating an alleged incident of harassment by communication that occurred Saturday.
- Police had a Next bicycle turned into the station Sunday. The owner may claim the bicycle by contacting police at 814-236-3858.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute at a Thompson Street residence on Sunday. It was handled by police at the scene.
- Police advised a landlord that their matter was civil and to file the proper complaint to evict the tenants.
