State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of assault/harassment that occurred at the rear of Good Street in Houtzdale Borough. During the incident, two people were allegedly involved in a verbal argument that turned physical when they shoved, pushed and punched each other. Charges are pending against both through the district court, state police said.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Friday at the Philipsburg-Osceola Area Senior High School. During the incident, a 15-year-old girl allegedly punched the victim in the side of the head while in class. They were separated by a teacher, state police said. Charges were filed against the girl through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of cruelty to animals that occurred Feb. 21 on Curtain Street in Rush Township. Upon arrival to the scene, state police allegedly discovered a dog was living in unsafe conditions for approximately three days. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Feb. 7 in the 200 block of North Ninth Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, the victim told state police that they cannot find a cell phone, digital camera and three skull power banks and believes they were taken by someone. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief that occurred Thursday at the Philipsburg-Osceola High School. Upon arrival state police allegedly discovered that a boy had allegedly stolen the victim’s cell phone from the boy’s locker room and destroyed it in order to avoid being caught with the stolen cell phone. Charges will be filed against the boy as a result, state police said.
- State police investigated an incident of DUI that occurred Thursday on Route 322 in Rush Township. Further, state police responded to a hit-and-run crash and allegedly discovered an Allport man was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment of injuries and a legal blood draw. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about scattering rubbish that occurred sometime Wednesday or Thursday on Lenyok Road between Yates and Sportsburg roads in Young Township. During the incident, someone allegedly disposed of several bags of garbage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Sunday on Main Street in Newburg Borough. During the incident, two people allegedly subjected each other to unwanted physical contact. Charges were filed against both people as a result of the incident, state police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police assisted the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop on Route 879.
- Police received a report about lost property. It has been returned to the owner.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident at Wal-Mart. It remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a person who was shooting a handgun in the Nelson Road area. Police searched the area, but the person was gone prior to their arrival.
- Police received a report about an alleged IRS scam in which the caller told the victim he/she owed back taxes.
- Township police, along with a Pennsylvania State Police K-9 Unit, conducted a traffic interdiction on Routes 322, 153 and 879 in search of illegal drug trafficking. Further, police conducted traffic stops between the hours of 6 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday.
- Police responded to an alleged assault incident that occurred in the 1300 block of Daisy Street. Police will cite a Clearfield male for the incident.
- Police responded to a noise complaint along the 1800 block of Clarendon Avenue.
- Police received a report about a civil issue in the area of Guinea Hill Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred on Baney Road.

- Police received a report about the alleged theft of medication that occurred at Edgewood.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications that occurred at the Economy Inn. Charges will be filed against both parties, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of reckless driving on Fire Tower Road.

- Police responded to a head-on collision on Route 879 near Route 153.
- Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on Mount Zion Road. It resulted in an operator being arrested for suspected DUI.
- Police responded to a burglar alarm at a local business.
- Police received a report about a runaway juvenile male. He was returned safely to his parents, police said.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about a burglary alarm at a Filbert Street business Feb. 23. Upon arrival police determined there wasn’t any entry and only minor damage.
- Police received a report about a burglary that occurred Feb. 23. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entry through two secured doors and then removed cash from the Filbert Street business.
- Police received a report about a possible domestic dispute that occurred Feb. 22 at an Anderson Street residence. However, police didn’t find any violations.
- Police responded to a crash Wednesday after a vehicle pulled out from Beech Street and was impacted by another traveling east on Chestnut Street. Both vehicles were driven from the scene; one operator was found to be driving under suspension, police said.
- Police responded to a Schofield Street residence for an alleged assault. Further, a juvenile was found to be fighting with an adult, police said.
Sandy Township
- On Friday a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Kilmer Road man failed to stop in time to avoid hitting a vehicle driven by a 48-year-old Treasure Lake man who was stopped in traffic on the Bee Line Highway. The second vehicle was subsequently pushed into another stopped in front of him that was driven by a 61-year-old Finleyville man. The passenger in the third vehicle reported back pain and was transported to DuBois Penn Highlands Hospital for treatment. The Kilmer Rod man was driving on a suspended license. Moderate to severe damage to the vehicles were reported, police said.
- A DuBois man reported that while he was in Lowe’s on Friday, someone hit and damaged his vehicle. There were no witnesses or video of the incident, police said.
- Police received a report about a stolen vehicle being parked at Ponderosa on Friday. Upon arrival the occupants of the vehicle were returning to the truck, and officers detained them. The 37-year-old Rockton man who was a passenger in the vehicle allegedly admitted he had taken the truck, and he was turned over to state police.
- On Saturday a 21-year-old DuBois man lost control of his vehicle while driving on Kiwanis Trail and crashed into a utility pole, causing severe damage. The vehicle was towed from scene, and no injuries were reported, police said.
- On Saturday a 59-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported that someone damaged a landscape wall in her back yard while she was out of town.
- A 76-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported that someone hit and damaged her vehicle while it was parked at the DuBois Mal on Saturday.
- On Saturday a 39-year-old Chicago, Ill., man alleged that while traveling to Boston, a bag with approximately $50,000 worth of jewelry and accessories in it was taken from his truck. He felt that it may have happened in Sandy Township while he and his family were at McDonald’s, police said.
- Treasure Lake Security alleged that someone damaged a porta-a-john Saturday at Little Flipper Lake.
- A truck that was parked in the Pilot parking lot was hit by another truck that was backing into a parking space next to it on Saturday. Minor damage and no injuries were reported, police said.
- On Sunday a Mifflentown man alleged that while in the parking lot of the Treasure Lake Ski Lodge, a 38-year-old Reynoldsville man threatened him and his party. The man fled the scene when police were called to the scene.
- A vehicle belonging to a 26-year-old Ridgway man was found wrecked in the area of Kiehlmeier Road on Sunday. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
