Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a traffic violation in the Smith Street area.
- Police responded to a custody issue that was handled at the scene.

DuBois City
- On Wednesday police were dispatched to the 200 block of East Weber Avenue for an alleged assault. Police were advised the caller’s granddaughter was kicked while walking home from the bus stop. Upon further investigation, police found two female juveniles had been harassing each other. Parents/guardians were advised of the police findings, and no charges will be filed at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief to a vehicle Wednesday on South Church Street. Upon arrival police were advised by the victim that someone threw an unknown substance on his vehicle. The victim told police that when he tried to remove it, the substance starting removing the paint from his vehicle. Police are continuing their investigation of the incident at this time.
- On Wednesday police were requested to contact a victim in regards to allegedly being harassed and threatened by a known male. The female told police she didn’t want to file charges but wanted the male advised that she didn’t want contact with him anymore. Police contacted the male and advised him to stop calling the victim.
- On Thursday police were dispatched to contact a victim about allegedly being harassed by her father. The victim told police that her father sends her harassing text and Facebook messages. She also said that he goes to her place of employment and degrades her to her employees. When police made contact with him, he also alleged that his daughter has been harassing him. Both were advised to not contact each other, police said.
- Police received a report from Clearfield County Control that a male from a South Brady Street residence called 911 and requested heroin on Thursday. Police made contact with the caller who claimed he wanted to report drug activity. The male, police noted, is currently awaiting a preliminary hearing for needlessly calling 911, and another set of charges will be filed for similar misconduct.
- On Thursday police were dispatched to the 500 block of Spring Avenue, where a female was allegedly yelling and screaming outside. Upon arrival police learned she was arguing with her boyfriend earlier and angry he left. Police cited the female for disorderly conduct as a result of the incident.
- On Thursday police were called by a South Brady Street resident who alleged her neighbor was intoxicated and causing a disturbance in the common area of the apartment building. Police were called again later for a report about the same neighbor allegedly playing music too loudly. A male will be cited for disorderly conduct as a result of the incident, police said.
- Wilkes-Barre police contacted DuBois City police Thursday about an active warrant for Christopher Miller. City police currently hold a warrant for him, and he was arrested on unrelated charges by Wilkes-Barre police. City police confirmed the warrant, and Miller will be arraigned as soon as possible. Miller rented a 2016 Dodge Charger from Enterprise on Dec. 31, 2015 and was to return it Jan. 2. However, Miller allegedly failed to do so, and he was charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
Sandy Township
- On Wednesday a Treasure Lake woman alleged that someone opened several retail charge accounts in her name.
- On Wednesday Wal-Mart employees alleged that a 32-year-old DuBois man had recently taken items from the store without paying for them. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Wal-Mart employees alleged that an unknown female was seen under-ringing items in the self-checkout Wednesday. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Wal-Mart employees alleged seeing an unknown male take a holster out of the packaging and walk out of the store without paying for it Wednesday. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- On Thursday a part-time Treasure Lake resident alleged that someone took items from a tool box attached to a trailer at the home on Shroud Cay Court.
- On Thursday Wal-Mart employees alleged that a 65-year-old Dubois woman was seen under-ringing items in the self-checkout on several different occasions. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- A 31-year-old Sykesville woman lost control of her vehicle Thursday due to icy road conditions on Sykes Street Extension. This, police said, caused her vehicle to travel off the roadway and crash into several trees. No injuries were reported as a result, and the vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
- A vehicle driven by a 69-year-old Sykesville woman spun sideways while traveling Thursday on Sykes Street Extension. This, police said, caused it to travel off the roadway and collide with several small trees. The driver sustained minor injuries as a result, and the vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at CNB Bank on Thursday.
- On Thursday a 32-year-old township woman alleged that her 40-year-old ex-boyfriend broke in and assaulted her and her current 42-year-old boyfriend. He broke two TV’s before fleeing the scene when the woman called police. Both victims received moderate injuries, police said. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
