Pennsylvania’s exports to China grew by 159 percent between 2005 and 2014, and today make up 5.9 percent of the state’s total exports. China is now the commonwealth’s third largest export market after Canada and Mexico. Imports from China comprise 21.8 percent of Pennsylvania’s total imports, about $18 billion in goods in 2014.
