Gerald A. Davis, 75, of Osceola Mills died Monday, Feb. 22, 2016 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.
Born Aug. 12, 1940, he was the son of the late Melvin and Anna (Shively) Davis.
He married Karen A. (Pase) Davis on Sept. 10, 1966 in Morrisdale. She survives at home.
Mr. Davis was of the Christian faith.
He was a member of the Osceola Lodge No. 515 F&AM, Osceola Mills. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a retired coal truck driver and a 1958 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Merrell and Richard Davis.
Along with his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Tammie L. Gibson and her husband, Paul of Columbia Md., Tracy A. Davis of Osceola Mills and Terri S. Chase and her husband, Scott of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Shirley J. Love of New Port Richey, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills with the Rev. Connie Dixon officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview United Methodist Cemetery in Morrisdale.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Military honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard at the funeral home.
