State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime Thursday or Friday on the Clearfield – Curwensville Highway in Pike Township. During the incident, someone allegedly used a pellet or BB gun and shot at the picture window at Tibbens Auto Sales. They then allegedly fled the scene in a four-door sedan traveling east on Route 879. Damage is estimated at $600, state police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft that occurred sometime between Feb. 17 and Sunday on Beech Creek Avenue in Ferguson Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole the victim’s concrete horse yard decoration. It is grayish-blue in color and approximately four feet tall. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of public drunkenness that occurred Sunday on Ponderosa Drive in Boggs Township. During the incident, a Kylertown man was allegedly passed out sleeping in his vehicle outside of a residence and determined to be intoxicated. Charges were filed as a result of the incident through the district court, state police said.
State police at DuBois
- State police investigated an alleged incident of DUI that occurred Saturday on Pancoast Road in Winslow Township. Further, state police stopped a Reynoldsville woman for several traffic violations and allegedly detected an odor of alcohol on her breath. She was subsequently arrested for DUI and other summary traffic charges, which are pending blood test results.
- State police investigated an alleged incident of DUI that occurred Sunday on Route 119 near the Blinker Light Sheetz in Sandy Township. Further, a Punxsutawney woman was stopped for a traffic violation and allegedly determined to be under the influence of alcohol. She was subsequently arrested for DUI and other summary traffic charges, which are pending blood test results.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Thursday at Brother’s Pizza on North Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a Curwensville woman allegedly proceeded to engage in an argument with the victim. She also allegedly pushed the victim two times.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of public drunkenness that occurred Saturday on Route 219 in Burnside Township. During the incident, a Burnside man was allegedly observed walking along the roadway in dark clothing. Upon making contact with him, state police allegedly determined he was intoxicated. He was subsequently cited for public drunkenness through the district court.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle in the area of West Fifth and Tyler avenues. It was located and determined to belong to a resident nearby, police said.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Weaver and Nichols streets. Upon arrival police found that a vehicle was traveling on Weaver Street, where its operator failed to stop and pulled out in front of a pick-up truck that was traveling east on Nichols Street. There were no injuries as a result, and one vehicle had to be towed from the scene, police said.
- Police responded to the Village Apartment for a mental health issue. Police secured the scene and the patient was taken to Penn Highlands Clearfield for an evaluation.
- Police assisted a State Constable with serving a warrant on a Clearfield male. The male was taken into custody and turned over to State Constable, police said.
- Police received a report that a known juvenile male allegedly threatened four individuals with a firearm. Police were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence, where they allegedly located a “look-a-like” firearm, which was a black P. Beretta BB gun, and drug paraphernalia. Police took the juvenile male into custody; two other juvenile females and a male were located in the residence but were released, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic assault that occurred on East Locust Street. Further, police said that a male was being unruly and had a knife, and the female had locked herself in the bedroom. Police arrived to the scene and located the male exiting the residence, and the female was found safe inside of the residence. Police found that the couple had allegedly engaged in a verbal argument and then the male had thrown a knife towards the female. The female then locked herself in the bedroom, as the male had allegedly attempted to gain entry, police said. Police arrested the male for terroristic threats and multiple assault charges and placed him in the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police responded to the area of East Eighth Street, where a male entered a local business and asked to use a phone to call for help, as he was allegedly being chased. Another male then allegedly stopped and picked him up. Both males were located and police found that the male who claimed he was being chased was having a mental health issue, as he had consumed an illegal substance.
- Police located a female who was allegedly highly intoxicated and sitting at the table outside of a local business. The female was arrested for public drunkenness, police said.
- Police received a report about a missing juvenile from East End who had walked to a store and had not returned. Just prior to police arrival, the juvenile had returned home safe.
- Police received a call for a disorderly male at a local business who was allegedly to be disturbing customers. The male was located and found to be homeless, police said. Police assisted him with finding a place to stay and transportation to the facility.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged rape, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School. Charges have been filed as a result of the incident, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred at the CAJSHS. Charges have been filed as a result of the incident, police said.
- Police received a noise complaint that occurred at the Lawrence Park Village.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft from a motor vehicle on Lawrence Avenue. Police would like to remind motorists to lock their vehicles when they leave them unattended.
