CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 2 has lifted the remaining speed limit restrictions on Interstate 80 in its north central region.
As of 2:10 p.m., normal speed has been restored to I-80 between the Bellefonte/161 interchange in Centre County and the DuBois/97 interchange in Clearfield County.
Speeds returned to normal earlier today on I-99 in Centre County, Route 322 from the State College area through Mifflin and Juniata counties, and on I-80 in Clinton County and Centre County from Clinton County to the Bellefonte/161 interchange.
Speeds were lowered to 45 miles per hour yesterday due to the winter storm that impacted the region.
PennDOT is continuing to treat roadways across the region and will continue to do so as appropriate.
