State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Feb. 10 at the Hill Crest Commons in Chester Hill Borough. During the incident, a Clearfield man allegedly sent the victim text messages, stating he wanted to cause her bodily harm. However, the victim failed to cooperate with state police and declined to pursue criminal charges against the man.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of burglary that occurred Feb. 11 on Dakota Ridge Road in Beccaria Township. During the incident, someone allegedly forcibly entered a camp, removed two alcoholic beverages and damaged a door. - State police received a report about the alleged theft of a motor vehicle sometime May 8-9, 2015 on Teutonic Avenue in Brisbin Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a 2005 gold crew cab Dodge 2500 diesel pick-up truck that belonged to the victim. It has a bright pink “Can’t Fix Stupid” sticker on the rear window. - State police received a report about an alleged incident of identity theft that occurred Feb. 10 on Egypt Road in Woodland. During the incident, someone allegedly obtained the victim’s personal information and used it to have power turned on at a Clearfield Borough residence. The power bill went unpaid to an amount of $2,359.15. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Jan. 31 at a Polk Township residence. It involved a 15-year-old male suspect and a 9-year-old female victim, according to state police.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Saturday at Shumaker Funeral Home in Big Run Borough. During the incident, a Punxsutawney woman allegedly subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact. Charges have been filed against the woman, state police said.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of identity theft that occurred Dec. 27, 2015 in Holmes, Pa. During the incident, someone allegedly used the victim’s personal information to obtain a credit card in his name, and it was used to make a $2,900 purchase at K-Mart in Holmes, Pa. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft that occurred sometime between Feb. 6 and Feb. 10 on Uhl Road in Fox Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a known amount of scrap metal from GKN Sintered Metals of Kersey. State police are continuing their investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact 814-776-6136.
Clearfield Borough
- Police assisted State Parole with taking a male into custody who they were looking for on Daisy Street.
- Police received a report about a male and female who were allegedly in a verbal argument at a residence on East Sixth Street. The male left when the female called the police.
- Police responded to Nichols Street for a report about a suspicious person. The residents heard someone pounding on their door and thought they were attempting to break in, police said.
- Police responded to Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital for two, separate calls of patients allegedly being unruly.
- Police received a report about a possible DUI in the area of River Road. Police located the vehicle parked but the driver was unable to be located.
- Police received a complaint that a package was allegedly stolen from an apartment building.
- Police stopped a vehicle and determined that the male driver had consumed an alcoholic beverage and was under the age of 21. The male was arrested as a result, police said.
- Police received a parking complaint on West Fifth Street, where a vehicle was parked in a handicap parking space with a valid placard.
Sandy Township
- Police received a report about a false alarm Friday at Triangle Springs.
- Police investigated a 911 hang-up call at an Oakland Avenue residence on Friday. The call was accidental, police said.
- Police responded to an Athena Drive residence for an alleged domestic disturbance Saturday. A 53-year-old woman stated her 53-year-old husband had been drinking all day and became verbally abusive toward her. Police handled the situation without incident.
- Police received a report about a false alarm Saturday at FedEx.
- On Sunday a 54-year-old DuBois woman alleged that an Overdorf Trailer Park resident had caused damage to a yard and sign with his vehicle. Police handled the situation without incident.
- On Sunday an 18-year-old DuBois girl alleged being harassed via text message by a 19-year-old Dubois woman. Police handled the situation without incident.
