CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Career & Technology Center is joining others across the nation during the month of February to celebrate national Career and Technical Education Month.
By partnering with the business community, the school’s programs are investing in student and providing them with latest technology and skills that will prepare them to become successful employees and future leaders.
The CCCTC invited Preston Eirich, who is a graduate of the CCCTC Collision Repair Program, into the program to share his expertise and tips on giving estimates.
Preston is employed by Midway Collision in Philipsburg. Preston says that when he was in the Collision Repair Program he was trained at the school with the same software that is being used in the industry and where he is employed.
This, he said, also helped him make an easy transition into estimating when you are taught the exact skills and using the same equipment that is in the industry.
