State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged domestic assault that occurred Thursday on Good Street in Houtzdale Borough. Upon investigation state police determined a father and son engaged in a physical altercation, which resulted in minor injuries. After that, the son allegedly entered his bedroom and retrieved a loaded 12-guage shotgun, returned to the living area and pointed it at this father. The son was then arrested for domestic violence, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and harassment. He will be arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland, state police said.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of cruelty to animals that occurred Jan. 31 on South Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. The victim told state police she found her deceased cat at her residence. Upon investigation state police determined it was allegedly killed by the victim’s daughter. In an updated report, state police indicated the charges are currently pending further investigation.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of receiving stolen property that occurred Wednesday at Miller Electric, Huston Township. Upon arrival state police discovered the suspect had allegedly been taking spools of copper wire from his employer without paying for it. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
Clearfield Borough
- Police were called to Dorey Street for an alleged stolen vehicle. While police were responding to the incident, the vehicle was located a few blocks from the victim’s residence. Police have two suspects and are continuing the investigation at this time.
- Police responded to an alleged domestic incident along Turnpike Avenue. Further, a husband and wife had engaged in an argument when he allegedly shoved her. He then left the scene. Police located him and determined he had active arrest warrants. He was turned over to a State Constable who held the warrants.
- Police located a disabled vehicle along North Second Street. Further, police assisted until help arrived at the scene.
- Police responded to an activated alarm along South Third Street and determined everything was OK.
- Police received a report about a dog that was lost around West Sixth Avenue.
- Police assisted emergency personnel along Reed Street, where a female was threatening harm to herself. The female was transported to the hospital for treatment, police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a motorist who impacted a pole and failed to stop at the accident scene. The suspect is known to police, and they are continuing their investigation at this time.

- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School. The suspects are known, and police are continuing their investigation at this time.

DuBois City
- Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident Wednesday at the intersection of East Park and Maple avenues. Further, the operator of a snow plow was attempting to back up when the blade made contact with a parked vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and provided insurance information, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief Wednesday in the 700 block of South Highland Street. Further, an unknown vehicle had driven through a lawn at the water tank, which caused damage. Police are continuing their investigation of the incident at this time.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of credit card fraud Wednesday. The victim told police that a known male opened a credit card in her name and charged approximately $900. Police gathered additional evidence, and charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident Wednesday at DuBois Logistics on Beaver Drive. Further, the operator of a freightliner was attempting to back into a loading dock when it made contact with another freightliner. Both freightliners sustained minor damage, and their operator’s exchanged information, police said.
Sandy Township
- On Wednesday police were called to Wal-Mart after employees recognized a man who had numerous warrants out for his arrest. Upon arrival officers located the man who allegedly attempted to give them false information about his identity. Once his identity was confirmed, 41-year-old Drew Dunworth allegedly struggled with officers, as they attempted to take him into custody. Dunworth was taken into custody and released to Clearfield County Domestic Relations on outstanding warrants. Drugs were a suspected factor in his behavior, police said.
- Police responded to an alleged domestic dispute Wednesday on Hanes Drive. Further, a 40-year-old woman and her 48-year-old boyfriend had engaged in an argument, and he left the scene. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Wednesday a 57-year-old man alleged that he had received several phone calls from a Hispanic male, stating he was a computer tech and wanted information to gain access to his computer. The man refused to give the information and recognized the call as a scam, police said.
- Police received a report about the operator of a vehicle doing doughnuts in the Save A Lot parking lot on Thursday. The 26-year-old DuBois man was still there when officers arrived, and they handled the situation without incident. The man will be cited for having an expired registration, police said.
- Police received a report about false alarm Thursday at FedEx.
- Two vehicles were involved in a minor accident Thursday in the DuBois Mall parking lot.
- A 71-year-old Sykesville man reported his vehicle had been hit and damaged while parked at Wal-Mart on Thursday.
