Former NBA star Lamar Odom stepped back into Madison Square Garden on Thursday, attending Kanye West’s New York fashion show and making a public appearance for the first time since he was hospitalized four months ago.
In October, Odom was driven from a legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada, to a hospital in Las Vegas after being found unresponsive in his bedroom. He was later transferred to a medical facility in Los Angeles and was released in January.
For the first few days after being whisked off in an ambulance, many worried if Odom would survive.
On Thursday, Odom, 36, posed for pictures with his wife, Khloe Kardashian. The two were going to get divorced, filing papers in 2013, but the proceedings were never finalized. Kardashian has been by Odom’s side since he was hospitalized.
The New York Daily News reported that Odom, who also appeared in “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and “Khloe and Lamar,” was ushered into the event by West to loud cheers. Odom walked with a limp, the newspaper reported.
The fashion show, dubbed Yeezy Season 3, was a chance for the famed rapper to debut his new clothing line and songs from his new album “The Life of Pablo.”
US Magazine reported Odom was happy, smiling and nodding with the beat as the music played.
Much of the family was there in support — Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner.
