CLEARFIELD COUNTY – ‘Tis the season to sign up for Toys for Tots in Clearfield County.

In-person sign ups will take place, from Oct. 15 through Nov. 15, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clearfield Food Pantry, located at 212 Hammermill Rd., Clearfield, PA 16830.

Or, people may call 814-577-8905 and leave a voice message with their name and phone number for where they can be reached to provide additional needed information.

Online sign up is also available at toysfortots.org, where they can select PA, then Clearfield County, to access and complete an online application form.

Following receipt of online requests, people will be contacted for additional information and to be provided a pickup date and time.

To sign up, Toys for Tots will need: name of adult(s), date of birth, address and two phone numbers for contact about toy pickup information. It will also need the name, date of birth and gender of each child (from newborn to 13 years old).

To qualify, people must reside in Clearfield County or a parent(s) must have served or be currently serving in any branch of the military. All low-income families are eligible.

However, it was noted that those who are currently enrolled in other Christmas programs are ineligible for Toys for Tots.

The goal: “We want to help all kids to have a wonderful Christmas in Clearfield County, and to know they are important and they are loved,” expressed Robin Clark, county Toys for Tots coordinator.
