Sandra F. Foster, 75, of North Philipsburg died Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 at Windy Hill Village, PSL, RD Philipsburg.
She was born Dec. 17, 1940, in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Robert Coble and June (Greaves) Blake.
She was a 1959 graduate of the Philipsburg – Osceola Area High School. She was also a graduate of the licensed practical nurse program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center, Clearfield.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ. She was also a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 1173 & Country Club and the Hope Fire Co. No. 2, all of Philipsburg.
She was most recently employed as a corporate manager with the Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services, Philipsburg, until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Connie J. Blazosky, who died June 25, 1995; and her second husband, Gary L. Foster.
She is survived by one daughter, Theresea A. Blazosky of North Philipsburg and two sons, Phil P. Blazosky and his wife, Barbie of Dover, Pa., and Mark B. Blazosky and his wife, Julie of North Philipsburg.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Casey Cartwright of Osceola Mills, Alexis Bacher and her husband, Gregory Bacher Jr. of Houtzdale and Megan Blazosky and Tyler Blazosky, both of Dover, Pa., and five great-grandchildren, Colby and Cooper Butterworth, both of Philipsburg, Gregory Bacher III and Benjamin Bacher, both of Houtzdale, and Braxton Harsomchuck of Osceola Mills.
She is survived by one brother, Bill B. Coble and his wife, Janine of Philipsburg and two nephews, Ryan Coble of Washington, D.C., and Adam Coble of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
She is also survived by three step-daughters, Sheila Horton of Hawk Run, Kelly Knepp of Wallaceton and Jodi Gallaher of Winburne; three half-sisters, Gail Hodges and her husband, Larry of Washington, D.C., Patty Mehserle and her husband, Greg of Reno, Nev., and Regina Yeo and her husband, Doug of Warsaw, NY; one half-brother, Robert Coble and his wife, Janice of Cuba, NY; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 at the First Church of Christ, 1437 Tyrone Pike, Philipsburg, with the Rev. William R. Fowler officiating.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
