State police at Clearfield

• State police responded to accident Thursday in the area of Powell and Second streets in Hawk Run. Further, a Hawk Run man was traveling east on Powell Street when he lost control of his vehicle. It went into the oncoming lane and struck a bridge on the northern side of the roadway. Upon investigation the man was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol. He wasn’t injured as a result of the accident, and his vehicle was towed from the scene. State police were assisted by Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services and Morris Township Rescue.
• State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Friday on Sington Road in Graham Township. During the incident, a Morrisdale man allegedly threw the victim onto a bed and choked her following an argument. Charges have been filed through the district court, state police said.
• State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft that occurred Feb. 2 on Lingle Street in Osceola Mills Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly stole an M1 Garand Ceremonial Rifle from the Osceola Mills VFW. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
• State police received a report about an alleged incident of identity theft that occurred Friday on Hogback Hill Road in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone obtained the victim’s personal information and opened several credit cards with it. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
• State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred sometime Thursday or Friday on Fourth Avenue in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly took three bicycles that belonged to two, different Curwensville residents. • State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft by unlawful taking/criminal mischief that occurred Wednesday or Thursday at the Bigler Mini-Mart in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged the doors of storage containers and removed nine propane tanks. The total amount stolen is estimated at $378; total damage is estimated at $100, state police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
• State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Sunday on Pine Street in Coalport Borough. During the incident, a Coalport man allegedly shoved and punched the victim, which caused her to fall.

State police at DuBois

• State police received a report about an alleged incident of reckless endangering that occurred Saturday at a Raybuck Road residence in Washington Township. Further, the victim told state police that a rifle round struck their residence. The investigation of this incident is currently pending, state police said.
• State police received a report about an alleged incident of burglary that occurred sometime between Jan. 16 and Saturday at Penfield residence in Huston Township. During the incident, someone allegedly broke into the victim’s vacant residence and removed a wall-mounted gas heater and a sump pump. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
• State police investigated a DUI-related accident Sunday on Route 28 in Snyder Township. Further, a Brockport man was involved in the accident and allegedly found to have alcohol on his breath. He was subsequently arrested for DUI and other summary traffic charges pending blood test results.

State police at Philipsburg

• State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft from a motor vehicle/public intoxication that occurred Saturday at The End Zone in Worth Township. Upon arrival a Woodland man was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and had urinated in the parking lot. He had allegedly removed $1,000 worth of merchandise from a vehicle parked at The End Zone and then abandoned the box in the parking lot. State police found the man was allegedly in possession of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. During his processing, the man also allegedly spit on the state trooper. He was transported to the Centre County Prison to await arraignment.
• State police received a report about an alleged incident of burglary that occurred sometime between Nov. 20, 2015 and Friday on Phoenix Road in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly forced entry into a residence and removed a revolver, a box of ammunition, jewelry and cash. • State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Friday on Powell Street in Morris Township. During the incident, a known person allegedly grabbed the victim’s head and shook him vigorously. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
• State police investigated an alleged incident of DUI that occurred Thursday on Interstate 99 in North College Township. After a traffic stop, state police found a female was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be filed through the district court, state police said.
• State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred Saturday or Sunday at various residences in the area of Ira and Lutz lanes in Halfmoon Township. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged several mailboxes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
• State police received a report about an alleged criminal attempt/theft that occurred Saturday on Lochlomond Road in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and opened the center console but didn’t remove anything. State police at Punxsutawney

• State police received a report about an alleged incident of simple assault that occurred Thursday on Pansey Ringgold Road in Ringgold. During the incident, the actors allegedly engaged in a verbal argument that became physical. Charges have been filed through the district court, state police said.
• State police received a report about an alleged incident of DUI that occurred Feb. 3 on Route 119 in Young Township. Further, state police stopped a Marion Center man for a traffic violation and determined he was under the influence. Charges are currently pending at this time, state police said.
• State police received a report about an alleged incident of DUI that occurred Jan. 9 on Brown Street in Reynoldsville Borough. Further, state police stopped a Reynoldsville man for a traffic violation and determined he was under the influence. Charges have been filed through the district court, state police said.

Clearfield Borough

• Police responded to a minor accident in which a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was not injured as a result, and the vehicle was driven from the scene, police said.
• Police assisted the fire department with two fires on Friday. The first was a structure fire on NW Third Avenue, and it was contained to a bedroom. The second was a vehicle fire on Elm Avenue; it started in the engine compartment of the vehicle. The vehicle fire was extinguished by the fire department.
• Police responded to East Eighth Street for a report about loud music.
• Police responded to Clearfield Street for an alleged disturbance. Police found that a local business was attempting to reclaim their property and a resident started to cause problems.
• Police responded to North Third Street for a report about a juvenile who was allegedly consuming alcohol.
• Police witnessed a vehicle fail to stop for a flashing red light and performed a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver was found to be under the influence and arrested as a result, police said.
• Police responded to an accident after a motorist lost control and their vehicle overturned onto its roof on Bigler Avenue. The driver fled from the scene, and the passenger was confined to the vehicle.  The passenger was then freed and taken to Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital for treatment, police said.
• Police assisted Morris-Copper police with serving a warrant on a female in Clearfield Borough.
• Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief, where an actor entered a garage and wrote on the walls.
• Police served a warrant on a female and found that she had drug paraphernalia on her. The female was taken to county jail, police said.
• Police received a complaint that a female allegedly had her bank card taken and used without her knowledge or permission. The actor is known and the investigation continues, police said.
• Police located a male staggering on East Market Street. The male was found to be intoxicated and arrested for public drunkenness, police said.

Lawrence Township

• Police received two, separate complaints about civil disputes. All parties were referred to the proper agencies.
• Police received a report about a traffic violation in the area of Daisy Street Extension.
• Police had a silver iPad turned into the station. Its owner may claim it by contacting township police.
• Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute at Edgewood. No charges will be filed as a result, police said.
• Police received a barking dog complaint.
• Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at the Hyde Wesleyan Church.
• Clearfield Borough police were assisted with a motor vehicle accident on Brewery Hill.
• Police received a report about a traffic violation that occurred in the area of Route 879 and South Second Street. Further, police located the vehicle in question and its operator was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence.
• Police responded to a report about an overdose and transported the male to the Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital.
• Police served a warrant on a male.
• Police received a report about a landlord/tenant dispute.
• Police received a report about excessive mud on Industrial Park Road.
• Police were requested to check the welfare of a male driver at the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop. Upon arrival police found the male to be OK.
• Police received a report about a tree down on a roadway.
• Police received a report about an alleged drug violation on Moose Street.
• Police received a report about a civil issue involving an all-terrain vehicle.
• Police received a report about suspicious activity in Hillsdale.
• Police received a report about a single-vehicle accident on the Old Erie Pike.
• Police received a report about two dogs that were running loose in the Deacon Road area.
• Police received a report about an alleged domestic disturbance on South Second Street.
• Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident that occurred near Wal-Mart.
• Police responded to an alarm on Airport Road. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
• Police received a complaint regarding child custody. The caller was advised to seek legal assistance, police said.

Curwensville Borough

• Police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft Thursday at Dollar General.
• Police received a report about the alleged theft of medication from a Bloomington Avenue residence sometime last week.
• Police are investigating an alleged incident of access device fraud. Further, someone allegedly stole a credit card from a purse in the Curwensville School on Monday and later used it for purchases.
• Police received a report about an accident at the intersection of Meadow and Filbert streets on Thursday. Further, a motorist failed to yield the right-of-way to oncoming traffic and was involved in a collision. No injuries were reported as a result, and both vehicles were driven from the scene, police said.
• Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment on Friday.

Sandy Township

• A 30-year-old Behringer Highway resident reported that a red truck was blocking his driveway on Friday. Upon arrival officers located the truck and determined it was not blocking the driveway.  The situation was handled without incident, police said.
• On Friday a 59-year-old Treasure Lake man alleged that he had items listed on Craig’s List, and an unknown individual contacted him to buy the items. When the check for the items came in the mail, it was allegedly for more money than the asking price; the person allegedly stated he just wanted the seller to cash the check and send him the extra money.  The Treasure Lake man immediately recognized this as a scam and ceased all contact with the buyer, police said.
• A 31-year-old Brockway woman lost control of her vehicle Friday on Route 219, causing it to travel off the roadway, through rough terrain and come to rest lodged on a large rock. The woman was severely injured and flown from the scene to Altoona; the vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
• On Saturday a 52-year-old Treasure Lake man alleged a $1,200 camera and equipment were missing from his home. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
• On Saturday a 54-year-old Barnoff Road resident alleged that three extension ladders were taken from his boat garage.
• Dollar General’s management alleged a possible employee theft on Sunday. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
