Steven Craig “Grubber” Drury, 65, of Philipsburg died Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 at Windy Hill Village, P.S.L., Philipsburg.
He was born May 3, 1950, a son of the late Stanley W. Drury and Margaret (Gearhart) Drury Marshall.
Mr. Drury was a multitalented musician and performed with a number of bands. He also served in the U.S. Navy.
He was formerly employed as a laborer with a number of construction and landscaping companies.
He was a 1968 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School.
He was married to the former Ann Kay Wilson, who preceded him in death on Feb. 21, 2013.
Surviving are a sister, Amanda D. Panasiti and her husband, Scott of Black Moshannon, RD Philipsburg; two brothers, Clifford A. “Peavy” Drury and his wife, Cathy of Altoona and David H. Drury and his wife, Dawn of Duncannon.
Also surviving are a nephew, Andrew Drury and his wife, Cathy and grand-nephew, Ryan, all of St. Louis, MO; a niece, Julie Drury of Gambrills, Md.; and a nephew, David Drury of Duncannon.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation. Burial will be at Philipsburg Cemetery, Philipsburg.
