State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft that occurred Jan. 9-10 on Main Street in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a turbo heater and rope Christmas lights from the Bible Tabernacle Church. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Jan. 12 on South High Street in Port Matilda Borough. During the incident, two males allegedly engaged in a physical altercation when an argument ensued over a parking space. State police are continuing their investigation of the incident at this time.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal trespass in the area of Uni Road in Halfmoon Township. During the incident, a Warriors Mark man allegedly entered onto the victim’s property, which is properly posted with “no trespassing.” State police are continuing their investigation of the incident at this time.
State police at Ridgway
- State police are investigating an incident in which a known Johnsonburg man who is a Megan’s Law registrant failed to comply. He allegedly made a change in his employment status in August and failed to report it to the Pennsylvania State Police within three business days as required by law. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to NW Fourth Avenue for a report about a disabled vehicle. Upon arrival police learned that it was in the process of being moved from the scene. Police checked and then learned the vehicle had been moved a short time later.
- Police were able to assist a motorist by unlocking their vehicle.
- Police received a complaint about a lost cell phone. The caller later advised that he had located the phone, police said.
- Police are investigating a report about an alleged incident of harassment via communications involving text messages.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Weaver and Nichols streets. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, and one vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
- Police handled a parking complaint along Daisy Street.
- Police assisted a motorist whose vehicle had become stuck on the railroad tracks along Williams Street.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with a patient along Nichols Street.
- Police assisted Crisis with serving a mental health warrant at a residence along Reed Street. The patient was transported to the hospital for further treatment, police said.
- Police handled a trespassing complaint at a residence along Park Avenue.
- Police were called to Third Street for a male who had allegedly refused to leave. Police arrived at the scene and attempted to speak to the male, at which point he allegedly became aggressive with police. He was eventually subdued by police and transported to the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police responded to an alarm along East Market Street. Upon arrival police determined everything was OK.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a lost wallet in the area of Plaza Drive.
- Police received a parking complaint that occurred on George Road.
- Police received a report about a single-vehicle accident on Calvary Road.
- Police received a report about an alarm at a business on South Second Street.
- Police received a report about an alleged mail theft that occurred on the Krebs Highway. During the incident, someone allegedly entered onto the victim’s porch and removed a postal package from the mailbox. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police received a report about a male who was possibly intoxicated and urinating along Clark Street and Firetower Road.
- Police received an animal call that occurred on Route 879 near Swisher Concrete.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment at a local business.
- Police received a call about a traffic violation and a male driving without a license.
- Police received a report about a fire alarm at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School.
