Janet L. Richner, 71, formerly of Osceola Mills, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
Born Aug. 29, 1944 in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Alberta A. (Parks) Dixon.
She was a 1962 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Philipsburg.
She was the complex manager at Decatur Village, Philipsburg, until her retirement.
On June 24, 1965 in Hagerstown, Md., she married Larry L. Richner, who died Nov. 27, 1996.
She is survived by a daughter, Suzette L. Mackey of Philipsburg and two sons, Larry James Richner of Winburne and Keith Robert Richner and his wife, Robbie of Mount Airy, Md.
She is survived by six grandchildren, Kyle, Braden, Kristian, Bryan, Danielle and Melissa; four step-grandchildren, Johnwa, Joshua, Michael and Cody; and two step-great-grandchildren, Dominic and Dayton.
She is also survived by two brothers, Gene A. Dixon and his wife, Georganne of Munson and Robert L. Dixon and his wife, Carol of Frenchville and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Dixon of Morrisdale RD.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William James Dixon and a step-grandson, Christian Leigh Mackey.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, Philipsburg.
Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home
