A man interrupted Donald Trump’s speech here on Monday with three words that struck at the core of the Republican presidential front-runner’s brand.
“This is boring,” a man standing near Trump shouted at the candidate who just two days earlier embraced a comparison to the famous showman P.T. Barnum.
After pausing briefly to take in the man’s words, Trump called for the man to be ejected: “Get him out of here,” Trump shouted.
The man, wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, insisted that he was a Trump supporter as he was escorted out. The man was not immediately identified.
“I love Donald but it’s getting a little boring,” the man said. “It’s getting a little boring.”
