Sheriff’s Posse Gaining Momentum in Clearfield County

When Clearfield County Sheriff Wes Thurston publicly announced his intention to form a posse of volunteers, feelings were mixed. However, as residents are stepping up to answer the call, the benefits are starting to become clear.
Clearfield Commissioners Reorganize for 2016
CLEARFIELD – The new Clearfield County board of commissioners reorganized for 2016 on Monday.
Commissioner John A. Sobel was voted to serve as chairman. Commissioner Tony Scotto was voted to serve as vice chairman.
2016 Clearfield County Salaries
CLEARFIELD – During its reorganizational meeting Monday, the Clearfield County Salary Board approved the 2016 salaries for the elected officials and the salaried employee group.
Clearfield Borough Council Reorganizes and Keeps Wade Cowder as President
CLEARFIELD – Wade Cowder will continue to head the Clearfield Borough Council.
At Monday’s reorganizational meeting, Cowder was re-appointed as president of council, with Brian Lytle serving as vice president and Heather Bozovich serving as president pro-tem.
