What would an awards show be without an unplanned interruption?
The 2016 People’s Choice Awards is the latest to suffer a bizarre stage-crashing moment.
The ladies from the CBS daytime talk show “The Talk” were taking their bows for winning the Favorite Daytime TV Hosting Team category, when a random guy pulled the microphone from Sara Gilbert.
“Some weird dude grabbed the mic while the hosts of @TheTalkCBS were giving their acceptance speech!” The People’s Choice people tweeted.
The man did a quick shout out for rapper Kevin Gates.
But Sheryl Underwood was having none of that, pushing the man away.
“You ain’t gonna pull no Steve Harvey up in here,” she said. “No sir. Security.”
Perhaps she meant Kanye West, who did his best to upstage Taylor Swift a few year’s back at the MTV Video Music Awards. Harvey’s faux pas was awarding the Miss Universe crown to the wrong woman.
The man didn’t leave immediately so Sharon Osbourne gave him a couple of kicks for good measure and the show continued.
