State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of assault/harassment that occurred Dec. 30 on Deer Creek Road in Morris Township. During the incident, a Philipsburg woman and the victim allegedly engaged in a verbal argument. It allegedly escalated to a physical altercation during which the woman pushed the victim with open hands. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of assault/harassment that occurred Dec. 31 on Rockwood Road in Bigler Township. During the incident, a Ramey woman allegedly grabbed a female child by her facial area. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an alleged DUI that occurred Friday on Firehouse Road in Cooper Township. During the incident, state police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by a Drifting man. State police allegedly suspected he was under the influence of alcohol. DUI charges will be filed through the district court, state police said.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief/harassment that occurred Friday in the Fuel-On parking lot in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, a Clearfield man allegedly punched out the driver’s side window of the victim’s vehicle with his fist while it was being operated by the victim. As a result, he caused the window to shatter and a laceration to the victim’s left ear. Damage is estimated at $500, state police said, and charges are pending through the district court.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of assault/harassment that occurred Friday on Naulton Street in Pike Township. During the incident, a Curwensville man and woman allegedly engaged in a verbal argument, which turned physical when they pushed and shoved each other. Charges are currently pending against both through the district court, state police said.
- State police received a report about a hit-and-run crash that occurred Sunday on the Quehanna Highway in Karthaus Township. Further, a vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and impacted a Kuntz Farm sign; it then overturned into a wooded area. The operator of the vehicle fled the scene, state police said.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between Friday and Sunday on Miriam Street in Ramey Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly pried open a padlock and hasp to a shed and caused approximately $40 worth of damage. - State police received a report about an alleged incident of burglary, theft and criminal mischief that occurred Aug. 24 at a vacant rental property on Pleasant Valley Road in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone allegedly used a blunt instrument to force open a wooden basement door. Once inside they allegedly cut and removed an unknown amount of copper throughout the residence. State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred on Hoffman Lane in Beaver Township. During the incident, a Summerville man allegedly bit the victim during a physical altercation. State police are continuing their investigation of the incident.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred Friday on Dora Timblin Road in Ringgold Township. During the incident, a Mayport allegedly fired numerous rounds from several firearms in celebration of New Year’s. One round allegedly struck an aerial fiber optic cable belonging to Comcast, which caused damage. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft that occurred Dec. 21 at Wal-Mart in Fox Township. During the incident, a St. Marys woman allegedly left the store without paying for a ham, Miracle Whip and eggs, which were valued at $37.36. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft that occurred Dec. 20 at Wal-Mart in Fox Township. During the incident, a St. Marys woman allegedly left the store without paying for a ham, a case of soda and two gift bags, which were valued at $41.16. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred Friday or Saturday on Highland Road in Highland Township. During the incident, someone allegedly punctured a tire in the victim’s 1999 GMC Jimmy and then fled the scene.
Clearfield Borough
- Clearfield Borough police had a stray dog turned into the station. The dog was then taken to the SPCA, police said.
- Police received a parking complaint that occurred on West Fifth Street. Further, there was to be a vehicle parked on the roadway for more than 48 hours, and it also had an expired inspection.
- Police responded to Merrill Street for an alleged disturbance between two family members.
- Police responded to East Cherry Street for a report about a male who was allegedly running through yards and who was dressed in dark clothing.
- Police received a report about a missing juvenile. The juvenile was later located and safe, police said.
- Police arrested a male for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop.
- Police received a report about a person driving carelessly by allegedly intentionally spinning his tires on the slippery roadway.
- Police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident where an individual backed into a parked motorcycle on South Fourth Street.
- Police responded to a report about a suspicious person near Gulich Avenue. The person was asking individuals for rides to Curwensville, police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police were called to the Sheetz store along Route 879 while numerous cell phones were found in the parking lot area.
- Police received a report about a missing juvenile female. She was eventually located and returned to her parent, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred in the Guinea Hill area.
- Police received a report about a lost/stolen wallet at the Road Trip Lounge.
- Police received a report about a vehicle accident near Novey’s Recycling.
- Police received a report about an alleged physical domestic dispute at the Edgewood Apartments.
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency on Leonard Street.
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency at Edgewood.
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency at the Lawrence Park Village.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief at Family Dollar.
- Police received a noise complaint that occurred on Hill Street.
- Police received a report about a found bicycle on Rails to Trails near Kwik Fill.
- Police received a report about a parking complaint/suspicious vehicle on Nelson Road.
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency on Park Avenue Extension.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communication that occurred on Wrigley Street.

DuBois City
- Police were dispatched to the area of Park Avenue and Brady Street for a suspicious male. The caller told police the male had arrived earlier and caused problems and he had now returned. However, police checked the area and were unable to locate him. Police were then called to the 200 block of West Long Avenue to check the welfare of a male. Upon arrival police located a male who was asking for help, and he was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred in the 100 block of East Long Avenue. The caller told police that someone had cut his break line. Upon investigation police determined the caller’s break line had been damaged due to a faulty mounting bracket, not by a criminal act.
- Police received a report about a license plate that was allegedly stolen from a fleet vehicle at a local business on Beaver Drive. Police were advised the vehicle hadn’t been moved in a while, and the business representative had just learned of the alleged theft. Police entered the registration for the vehicle as stolen with the NCIC.
- Police were dispatched for a male who was laying on the floor and convulsing on North Jared Street. He was found to be highly intoxicated and transported to the hospital by emergency personnel.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run crash that occurred in the front parking lot of the DuBois YMCA on Parkway Drive. A witness reportedly observed a purple-colored Chevrolet Silverado strike a vehicle; two young males reportedly exited the truck, observed damage to the vehicle and then fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact DuBois City police.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment. It was found to be an issue between family members, police said.
- Police were dispatched to check the welfare of an individual in the 800 block of DuBois Street. The caller told police they hadn’t heard from the man and indicated he has health issues. Upon arrival police found that the man was OK.
- Police received a report from a Sandy Township man who alleged his daughter was being harassed by an adult woman. However, police determined that it wasn’t occurring in DuBois City and directed the caller to other agencies for assistance.
- Police received a report about an illegally parked vehicle in a private lot in the first block of East Park Avenue. The caller requested that police ticket the owner of the vehicle.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute that occurred between a boyfriend and girlfriend in an apartment in the first block of West Long Avenue. Both were allegedly intoxicated and arguing over her speaking with a male friend at the bar. The man called for a ride and returned to his own residence, police said.
- Police received a report about an alarm at the United Way on South Jared Street. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK, and notified the key holder of the situation.
- Police received a parking complaint involving a 2009 Honda Civic in the 300 block of East Park Avenue. Police found that it was parked too far from the curb, and issued its owner a ticket. Following another complaint several hours later, the vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
- Police were dispatched to a garage in the 300 block of Shaffer Avenue for a report about someone possibly being inside it. Upon arrival police checked the garage and didn’t locate anyone.
Sandy Township
- On Friday police received a report about a couple of males who were outside of a vehicle at Johnson Motors and who were acting suspicious. When the males saw the caller they drove away in a green vehicle with green wheels. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at Hawbakers on Saturday.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at VA Clinic on Sunday.
- On Sunday police responded to a Home Camp Road residence for an alleged domestic dispute between a 24-year-old woman and her 24-year-old husband. The dispute was verbal in nature, and police handled the situation without incident.
- A 54-year-old South Main Street woman alleged Sunday she had been struck by her 63-year-old husband. Further, she alleged to police that he had been drinking and when she attempted to leave the residence he physically assaulted her. Police went to the residence, found the man who was on probation and took him into custody; he was then transported to the jail. Charges have been filed against him as a result of the incident, police said.
- On Sunday a 41-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported that she moved out of a rental property in Treasure Lake. When she returned to retrieve some items she allegedly found that someone took a Wildfire all-terrain vehicle, a Polaris ATV plow and her father’s ATV trailer from a shed at the residence. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
