State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Dec. 22 at the Sheetz store in Decatur Township. During the incident, a Philipsburg man allegedly shoved the victim into a wall and struck him several times in the head. The man was charged with harassment through the district court, state police said.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred Thursday on Deer Creek Road in Morris Township. During the incident, someone allegedly took six star shower light displays from the victim’s yard. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct that occurred Saturday on Myers Road in Morrisdale. During the incident, a Morrisdale man allegedly fired a single shot from a rifle toward his own vehicle. He was cited for the incident, state police said.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of burglary that occurred Thursday on North Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone removed multiple items from the victim’s store. The suspect was wearing a black coat/sweatshirt and light-colored pants and entered from the Locust Street side of the store. Surveillance video shows the suspect fleeing the scene toward the alley near Front and Second streets. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
- State police have an item that was found Thursday in an open lot on the western side of North Centre Street in Philipsburg Borough. A trooper responded to the scene and collected the item. The owner may claim the item by calling the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft that occurred Saturday at the Wal-Mart store in Young Township. During the incident, a Glen Campbell couple allegedly entered the store and removed 15 items, which totaled approximately $136.40. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.

- State police received a report about an alleged burglary that occurred Thursday on Route 219 in Horton Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained accessed to the victim’s residence and removed numerous items before fleeing the scene. - State police received a report about an alleged theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Thursday on German Settlement Road in Horton Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained access into the victim’s locked vehicle. Once inside they allegedly took a known amount of money and then fled the scene. Further, a motorist struck a member of emergency service personnel who was directing traffic. They were transported to the emergency room at Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital.

DuBois City
- On Friday police received a report about a male who was laying on the sidewalk near East Weber Avenue and South Brady Street. Upon arrival to the scene, police observed the male who was limping and holding his side. While speaking with him, police learned he had been struck by a vehicle. The male was transported to the emergency room at Penn Highlands for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred Friday at a residence in the 200 block of South Highland Street. Upon arrival police made contact with the victim who related that when he returned home he observed that his window in his front door was broken. He provided police with information for a possible suspect. Police are continuing their investigation at this time, and charges are pending.
- Police received a report about a vehicle that was being driven all over the roadway Friday on First Street. Upon arrival to the scene, police allegedly observed a female driving recklessly and activated emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop. While attempting a traffic stop, the female operator traveled through a yard on DuBois Street. Once the vehicle came to a stop and contact was made with the female, police allegedly determined she was under the influence of alcohol. She was subsequently arrested for DUI, and charges are pending, police said.
- Police received a report about a male who was allegedly being unruly Saturday at a residence on North Church Street. Upon arrival police made contact with the caller who related his roommate was throwing items all over the residence and destroying his personal property. When police made contact with the roommate, he said he only threw a couple of things and didn’t break anything. Police are continuing their investigation at this time, and charges are pending.
- Police received a report about an alarm Saturday at a business on Beaver Drive. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK when searching the outer perimeter. A key holder didn’t respond to the scene, and police cleared the incident.
- While on patrol Saturday police observed a silver Jeep Compass being driven recklessly on South Jared Street and Long Avenue. While observing the vehicle, its operator allegedly committed several traffic violations. Police initiated a traffic stop and pulled the vehicle over on East Long Avenue and determined the female operator was under the influence of alcohol. The female was placed under arrest for DUI and charges are pending at this time, police said.
