CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County Sheriff Wes Thurston has announced plans to form the first-ever volunteer Clearfield County Sheriff’s Posse.

Thurston said that applications to be a posse member must be completed and notarized before submission to the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office on the first-floor of the main courthouse.
