State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged criminal mischief incident that occurred sometime between Dec. 11 and Wednesday on Terrace Street in Cooper Township. During the incident, someone allegedly caused damage to the victim’s motorcycle by cutting wires and damaging antennas.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged theft that occurred sometime Nov. 16-17 in the 700 block of Silverdale Road in Huston Township. Further, the victim hired a moving company to move her items into a new residence. During the move, several items allegedly went missing. State police are continuing their investigation.
- State police received a report about an alleged burglary that occurred sometime Dec. 11-12 on South Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly made entry into the victim’s apartment and removed several items. State police are continuing their investigation.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an alleged theft that occurred sometime between Dec. 9 and Wednesday on the Bennetts Valley Highway in Huston Township. During the incident, someone allegedly took two black 2013 bumper pull trailers. The trailers are valued at $700 each, state police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police received several calls from township residents regarding alleged IRS phone calls. Police advised it was a scam.
- Police responded to a psychological emergency on Hall Street. A juvenile was transported by emergency personnel to the hospital, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged disturbance on Bowman’s Hill Road. It involved a young juvenile and police notified Children & Youth Services.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with taking a male into custody.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 322 in the area of the Clearfield Mall exit to Route 879. No injuries were reported as a result, and both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
- Police assisted state parole agents with apprehending someone on parole warrants. The male allegedly fled from officers at a high rate of speed and nearly caused several accidents. He was later picked up by police at a local hotel and transported to the jail. Charges are currently pending at this time, police said.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with an incident in the Turnpike Avenue area.
