Roberta Jean Stucke, 76, of Clearfield died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 at her residence.
Born May 18, 1939 in Nabb, Ind., she was the daughter of William and Diantha (Velmont) Rowley.
She had done private duty nursing around the area. She also had worked as a care nurse for the DuBois Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church.
She was also involved with the Clearfield VFW Auxiliary, where she had served as past president for 10 years. She was a district officer for the VFW, and she loved helping veterans.
In December of 1958, she wed Henry J. Stucke, who preceded her in death on July 11, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a half-brother, Dennis Myers; an infant sister, Patricia Rowley; and a daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Stucke.
Surviving are three children, Bambi Freeman and her companion, Rick McIntyre of Claysburg, William Stucke of Clearfield and Brian Stucke and his domestic partner, Dana Litz of Mineral Springs; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and her companion, Richard Gummo with whom she made her home with.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stucke will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield with the Rev. Lee Casher officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery Woodland.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
