State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of burglary that occurred sometime Sunday or Monday on Bumbarger Drive in Covington Township. During the incident, someone allegedly took multiple items, including two bottles of prescription Penicillin with the victim’s name on it. Upon investigation state police determined it was possible the suspect was driving an unknown Sedan. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged theft that occurred sometime between Friday and Monday at three Port Matilda addresses in Halfmoon Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole outgoing mail. They allegedly opened the mail and removed items from within the parcel. Afterwards they allegedly ripped everything up and tossed it on the ground. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of DUI that occurred Nov. 13 on Route 322 near Alexander Lane in Union Township. During the incident, a Brookville man was allegedly stopped and arrested for DUI. Charges are currently pending through the district court.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident on Route 879 in Wolf Run.
- Police received a report about a lost, stolen or mislaid wallet.
- Police received a report about a disabled tractor-trailer on Route 879.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a male on Old Town Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic dispute on Patton Street.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct involving a juvenile male.
DuBois City
- On Saturday police allegedly observed a Honda passenger vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and without headlights on Long Avenue. Police stopped the vehicle after its operator allegedly committed additional traffic violations at the intersection with Highland Street. Upon investigation police found the operator was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and transported them to the hospital for a blood draw. Charges are currently pending at this time, police said.
- Police received a report about found property Saturday at the Sheetz store on North Brady Street. An employee had entered the men’s restroom and located a wooden box on the floor, which allegedly contained a small amount of marijuana. Police took possession of it, and it was later destroyed.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle Saturday in the 200 block of Quarry Avenue. Upon investigation police found the operator was driving under suspension. However, police didn’t find anything else to be suspicious. The operator will be cited as a result, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged fight in progress Saturday on West Weber Avenue. Upon arrival police made contact with two older males in a nearby apartment. It was allegedly determined that one was intoxicated and had fallen while walking home. Police advised the males to remain inside for the remainder of the night.
- Police received a report about a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident Saturday at the intersection of Rose Ally and East Park Avenue. Further, a truck was pulling out and made contact with a male who was crossing the street but not within a crosswalk. The male, according to police, was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police are continuing their investigation of the accident.
- Police observed the operator of a Jeep Cherokee fail to stop at the intersection of North Highland Street and Scribner Avenue. The vehicle was stopped by police in the Sheetz parking lot on North Brady Street. The operator, police said, was found to have an active warrant through the Sandy Township police. He was also allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Sandy Township police requested the male turn himself into the magistrate Monday. He was released and will be charged for the drug violations.
- Police received a report about a male who was allegedly passed out on the sidewalk along the 300 block of West Long Avenue. He was identified by police and allegedly determined to be highly intoxicated. He was transported to the hospital for treatment. The male will be cited for the incident, police said.
