While most stars are worried about having a single hair out of place before walking the red carpet, Snooki has way too much hair to care. That’s because Snooki the sloth is an animal ambassador from the LEO Zoological Conservation Center who stole the spotlight at the CNN Heroes Tribute show.
Snooki was there to help honor Monique Pool, one of the Top Ten CNN Heroes. Through her nonprofit, Green Heritage Fund Suriname, Pool has rescued, rehabilitated and released hundreds of sloths.
After walking the red carpet, Snooki made a grand entrance, being carried on stage in the arms of Anderson Cooper. Backstage, celebrities swooned and posed for pictures with her.
Neil Patrick Harris, who presented Pool with her Heroes award, is just one of the stars posing with the sloth. Victoria Justice, Kelly Ripa and Kathy Griffin got together for a group photo. Sharon Stone sat on the red carpet to get to know Snooki better.
When Snooki isn’t basking in the celebrity spotlight, she enjoys being misted with warm water. And, as Cooper told the audience, “She likes it if you blow in her face,” adding, “but frankly, who doesn’t?”
She hangs out back home at the LEO Zoological Conservation Center with her fellow sloths J-Woww and the Situation (seriously).
