Hallie J. (Beish) Beauseigneur, 89, of Clearfield died Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehab Center.
She was born Dec. 26, 1925 in Hyde City, the daughter of the late Earl and Lyda (Carr) Beish.
On Aug. 30, 1947, she married Donald L. Beauseigneur at the St. Francis Catholic Church.
Mrs. Beauseigneur was a 1943 graduate of the Clearfield High School. She worked for eight years at Bell Telephone, and she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the West Side United Methodist Church, where she was the president of the administrative board. She also served on the board of trustees for the administrative board for many years, volunteered at Vacation Bible School, worked as a youth group leader and was named Woman of the Year at the church.
Mrs. Beauseigneur was a member of the NON Club, a Girl Scout Leader and a member of the 1943 Clearfield High School Class Reunion Committee.
She enjoyed car rides on the mountain, get-togethers at Deerlawn Camp, playing cards, snowmobiling, camping vacations at Myrtle Beach, traveling around the country, sing-a-longs, dancing, babysitting her grandchildren, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Her survivors include three children, Debra J. Dukatz and her husband, Ervin of LaCrosse, Wis., and Brenda S. Ryan and her husband, Joseph and Donald L. Beauseigneur Jr. and his wife, Dana, both of Clearfield.
Her survivors also include eight grandchildren, Thomas Dukatz and his fiancée, Erin Ehmke, Kathryn Herold and her husband, Robert, Daniel Ryan, Beau Ryan and his wife, Staci, David Ryan, Jayme Ryan, Grace Beauseigneur, and William Beauseigneur; three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Elliott and Eliza Jane Herold; a brother, Robert E. Beish and his wife, Hannah of Medina, Ohio; a sister, Audrey Moore and her husband, James P. of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald L. Beauseigneur Sr., who died Dec. 11, 2007; and two brothers, Howard L. Beish and Cecil D. Beish.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the West Side United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Joleen A. Willis officiating. Burial will be at Centre Cemetery, Hyde.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tuesday at the West Side United Methodist Church.
The family would like to thank the employees of Colonial Courtyard, Knickerbocker Villa, Ridgeview Health and Rehab Center and AseraCare Hospice for their care over the years.
