Loryn Rae Muirhead, 30, of DuBois died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at the University of Pittsburgh Montefiore in Pittsburgh.
Born June 20, 1985, she was the daughter of Lon Amilkavich and Amy McKnight Burd. Her father preceded her in death, and her mother survives and lives in Bellefonte.
On Dec. 6, 2007, she married Ryan V. Muirhead. He survives.
She was an avid gardener and enjoyed being in the outdoors.
She is survived by her most loved step-son, Scylar Muirhead.
There will be no public visitation.
A celebration of life service will be held on from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday at the Luthersburg Community Center.
The Goble-Baronick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
