CLEARFIELD – Organizers at the Clearfield YMCA have been notified by the North Pole that Santa and Mrs. Claus will attend this year’s Christmas Parade at 12 p.m. Dec. 5.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be available after the parade in the YMCA gymnasium to visit with children. Children may also have a quick photo taken (by their parents) with the jolly couple.
The YMCA staff will provide hot chocolate and cookies for everyone following the parade. Children will receive a stocking full of treats.
There are currently 19 entries for the parade and more are welcome. It will step off on the corner of Locust and Third streets and proceed to Market Street, turn onto North Second Street and then finish on Pine Street, organizers said.
