William Dennis “Denny” Duckett, 56, of Curwensville died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born Sept. 27, 1959 in Clearfield, he was the son of Richard H. Duckett and Lucinda (Anderson) Duckett Lightner.
Mr. Duckett was employed by TAFCO in Hyde as a sheet metal fabricator. He was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church.
He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local No. 12, and he enjoyed his Jeep, dogs, fishing and auto racing.
He wed the former Karen L. Mansfield on Sept. 26, 2015 in Curwensville, who survives, along with his mother of Hyde.
He is survived by three brothers, Kevin Duckett and Richard Duckett Jr. and his wife, Debra, both of Hyde, and Randall Scott Duckett and wife, Nancy of Woodland.
Also surviving are a step-sister, Diane Stapleford and her husband, Michael of State College and step-brothers, Robert and John Lightner, both of Mahaffey.
He was preceded in death by his father and step-father, Francis O. Lightner.
Funeral services for Denny Duckett will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Curwensville United Methodist Church, 602 State St., Curwensville, PA 16833, with the Rev. Dr. Robert S. Ludrowsky officiating.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
