CLEARFIELD – The Moena Restaurant held its grand reopening and ribbon cutting celebration Nov. 14 in downtown Clearfield.
Moena is locally-owned and operated by Rob and Laura Edwards. Moena offers authentic Italian cuisine with the taste of old-world Italy to the “new world.”
Moena offers daily specials and a selection of domestic and imported wines to accompany meals. Moena offers a diverse selection of drinks in a relaxing setting.
As part of the grand reopening celebration, Dylan Reed from Nawrocki Imports held a wine tasting. Nawrocki Imports is based in Pennsylvania and imports several of the new wines on the Moena wine list.
Main Street Manager, Loretta Wagner stated, “This is very exciting for Clearfield. Not only is Moena a locally-owned restaurant, but this also serves as an opportunity for the community to have fine dining in our town of Clearfield. With that in mind, I would like to wish Rob and Laura and their staff success with the business.”
Clearfield County Commissioner John A. Sobel took a part in the ceremony to welcome Moena’s new owners to downtown Clearfield and wished them the best of luck.
Moena is located at 215 E. Market St., Clearfield. Its hours of operation are Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday from 12 p.m. – 9 p.m. It is closed Sunday and Monday.
